But aside from the beautiful and reliable alteration work she did…I must mention the overall experience of working with Dianne. She is one of the most positive people I know and does everything she can to just “make it work.” After I met her, I knew that my dress was in good hands and that she would solve any problem that came across.
I genuinely looked forward to my appointments with Dianne, and so did my mother. She is delightful to be around and makes you feel like a special bride. Throughout the wedding process, I came across many people who, unfortunately, treated my wedding as if it was just another day at the office. But Dianne truely enjoys the work that she does and treats her brides with respect and the sensitivity sometimes needed during the wedding planning process. : ) Dianne always made us smile.
Dianne also provides a day-of service for her brides. She will travel to the location where the bride and her bridesmaids are getting ready with an iron, steamer, sewing machine, and a bag of tricks on hand. After we had such a great experience getting my gown altered, we decided that not only did we think the service would be fantastic and necessary for the day of the wedding, but that we could not imagine her not being there when I stepped into my wedding gown on my wedding day. So we hired her for the day-of service and were absolutely thrilled that we decided to do so. All of my bridesmaids were impressed with Dianne and told me what a good idea it was to have her there. She saved the day for many of my bridesmaids. I don’t know what we would have done without her that day! In fact, one of my bridesmaids has already hired her for her wedding!
Finally and most importantly, I consider Dianne a lifelong friend of mine. She is one of the best people I know and I am so glad that I know her. She says that she thinks of her brides as her nieces…and I now think of her as my Aunt Dianne.
Thank you for everything.
Love,
Kristin McCreary Eichel
